& it sucks knowing that a majority of people would rather talk to what I look like on the right instead of left.

Why? We have the same personality though.

Buy 1, Take 1 Sisig Shawarma courtesy of Shawarma Guys, the newly opened Middle Eastern food place at the Fort Strip. Of course I ate them both. They were good but I’d rather eat the Beef version, I guess.

05.01.2013 - 05.02.2013

May 1: Councilor

You came along while I was silently reading The Happiness Project in between selling sticks of Malboro Lights, Champion Reds and making Instant coffee. You handed out your hand and shook mine. You looked very much like your Dad, in fact I can’t remember if you like more like your self in your posters and in your stickers, or if you looked like your Chinese dad, an incumbent councilor.  I read your flier, and you said you had this programs - Programa para sa Pabahay, Programa para sa Kalusugan. You’re a recent San Beda graduate. And I ask myself - What exactly will you do when you’re elected? What Pabahay programs? What Pangkalusugan programs?

You looked stiff and reserved, you come off as someone who’s going through the motions. I wanted to ask you so Bad: Do you really want to do this? Or are you just doing this for your Dad?

But then I didn’t. Didn’t have the balls to do so. But I did had the balls to refuse your request to stick something on our store walls.

Will I vote for you? Probably not. But then your perfumed lingered on my hands for hours long after you shook it, smelling it while browsing the net idly.

I may not vote for you but I’ll definitely remember.

May 1: Ironman 3

…was okay. But I felt there’s something missing. There could’ve been more. I wasn’t convinced that Tony Stark reached rock bottom. It didn’t get much empathy from me. I don’t know why that is, but it’s kinda sad. But this isn’t to say that it was a bad film, it was entertaining in the least.

May 1: Future Husband

Girl friends and I had an interesting talk on Future Husbands. I haven’t really given it some thought. NBSB people kinda don’t wanna think about it, especially when they’re around marrying age. Though I harbor this secret fantasy of being a wife of someone extremely rich (though hopefully the age difference is not that big) - those people who appear on Philippine Tattler or something. Browsing the next day, I found this blog of a Diplomat’s wife - and I figured it wouldn’t be so bad living like that (HAHA Asa!). But then really, I tend to be attracted to smart charismatic people, somewhat different and confident. Or he’ll probably just someone whose’s really patient to get to know me well enough, because that’s enough hardwork in itself, or just someone who decided that he’s happy being around me - and will decide to stick with me no matter what (hence marriage).

May 2: Global City Candidacy

Nothing much, just really wondering if people living in condominiums in BGC are considered voters in Taguig? And if so, why couldn’t I see candidates campaigning in the area? Do people in Forbes Park vote as well? And do they even care to vote?

I’ve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:

IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.

1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.

2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? It’s the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.

3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word “suicide.”

4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”

5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.

TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.

Reblog this to keep other users aware. Suicide isn’t a joke, and neither is someone’s life. If you didn’t know this, someone else may not, either. Pass it on.

why on earth doesn’t this have more notes

I actually had to do this once. She lived.

if you scroll past this on your dash you are absolutely heartless.

I couldn’t ignore this - Just in case. I was not aware of this feature, and if it helps ANYONE, then it has served its purpose.
